Products used in medical industries undergo strict quality verification to ensure their operation meets specifications. Increasingly, such products are being developed using engineering simulation technologies. As controllable quality levels are key to the development of such products, especially when they are designed to save lives, use of simulation technologies by itself is insufficient. What is needed is an Objectives Driven Engineering approach that enables engineering teams to understand the behavior of their design for a wide range of environmental conditions.
