Thanks to a wide range of interfaces, our software solutions seamlessly connect to nearly all leading 1D and 3D engineering software solutions. By driving parametric simulation campaigns involving any of these solutions, our products free users from repetitive manual model changes and data processing.
Each interface manages the parameterization of the underlying engineering model without requiring the user to deal with any complex file syntax, substitute design parameters, and extract simulation results. Automatically launching and running the various engineering simulation tools is achieved by embedding direct drivers in the engineering workflow, without the need for any user programming.
ANSYS Electronics Desktop automates the creation of a workflow that contains any ANSYS Electronics Desktop entry. With this interface, the analyst interacts with ANSYS design parameters and analysis results from Optimus. From a unique Optimus graphical interface, the analyst works through parametric CAD geometry to the selection of post-processing analysis results parameterization.
Grasshopper driver automates the use of Grasshopper as a component of an Optimus workflow. It allows users to access all Grasshopper -defined design parameters (*.ghx file) and the parameters of the simulation setup and submit the updated files to Rhinoceros 3D.
HDF stands for Hierarchical Data Format and is a set of file formats for storing and managing data. It supports an unlimited variety of datatypes, and is designed for flexible and efficient I/O and for high volume and complex data. HDF is supported by many commercial and non-commercial software platforms (e.g. MATLAB, Nastran). The current version of the format is HDF5.
MotorCAD driver automates the use of MotorCAD as a component of an Optimus workflow. It allows users to access all MotorCAD-defined design parameters and design outputs in all MotorCAD Part Geometry and the parameters of the simulation setup (*.mot file).
