The openness of our software platforms makes it possible to easily integrate any user-defined Response Surface Model (RSM) into a Design Space Exploration process. Our RSM plug-in technology allows any engineering team to complement our standard surrogate models with any user-developed approximation method. Seamlessly integrating these methods into our platforms, engineering teams are guided in the response surface creation process just like with any of our standard RSM methods – with full access to user-defined options. In addition, any response surface built through user-developed methods can be exported and embedded as a Functional Mock-up Unit in any third-party simulation software.
Similarly, our platform technologies allows to access and deploy any custom single or multi-objective optimization algorithm from a standard graphical interface, including access to all options of the algorithm. Through this plugin technology, users select the most appropriate tradeoff analysis algorithm for a specific engineering problem on a case-by-case basis. Based on a simple file based system, the plugin capabilities allow for an easy integration of optimization algorithms, regardless of the programming language that was used to develop them.
