Based on the open Modelica standard, SimulationX offers a modeling platform that can easily be customized to specific needs and development tasks. That platform includes a vast number of different model libraries from various physical domains which can be used, for example, to combine mechanical components with elements from fluid power or control engineering. SimulationX' many base elements, as well as its numerous complex application models, allow for sheer endless possibilities during the modeling process.
Optimus orchestrates parametric simulation campaigns involving SimulationX, freeing users from repetitive manual model changes and data processing. Using Optimus, engineering teams quickly identify product designs that meet a combination of objectives set by multiple (often competing) performance targets. At the same time, design constraints imposed by manufacturing realities are consistently taken into account.
