Optimus introduces a user-customizable interface (UCI) to XML data files, which can simply be plugged into any Optimus engineering workflow. Using drag-and-drop actions, it takes only minutes to define design parameters and outputs and to parameterize an XML data file.

As a result, Optimus automatically generates the XML input files needed to run simulations, and parses the XML output file generated by the simulations.

Considering the increasing industrial use of the web-enabled XML standard for modeling and documentation purposes, this new Optimus UCI is an important step in bringing high parameterization flexibility and removing complex file syntax bottlenecks for ever-more engineering simulation tools.
