UNDERSTANDING CUSTOMERS' ENGINEERING CHALLENGES

Application engineers speak the language of our customers and understand their engineering challenges. They are multiskilled professionals that liaise with customers to provide assistance in automating their specific engineering analysis process. This is exactly what makes Noesis Solutions successful in servicing so many different industry segments.

Practically speaking, application engineers support customers in their daily engineering work and help them build engineering workflows, define optimization strategies and set up powerful engineering simulation processes. During the roll-out of customer projects, they also interact with our development engineers to discuss software customization and integration related topics.

To be ready for the job, application engineers require extensive experience in simulation methodology, project and systems management, as well as engineering simulation. Typically, they hold degrees in aeronautics and mechanical engineering, or they are mathematicians and specialists in the algorithms used in modeling and simulation.

For our customers, Bruno is a key person of the Noesis Solutions organization. In integration projects, customers rely on him to provide assistance and give advice on how to apply our technologies combined with their fluid dynamics, systems simulation or structural mechanics simulation software - just to give an example. Bruno has an in-depth knowledge of our advanced numerical optimization methods, and helps our customers get the most out of our technologies for their specific engineering challenges.

“Working as an Application Engineer for Noesis Solutions offers me the opportunity to further elaborate on engineering simulation challenges and computational algorithms, the two educational fields that have always interested me most,” says Bruno. “Although integration projects are quite challenging because they can be so different from one customer to another, it’s a great experience to assist customers in so many different ways.”

Bruno is also involved in pre-sales, support and training activities. “Flexibility is key at Noesis Solutions” Bruno remarks. “But that allows me to broaden my skill set and to take on new responsibilities that help develop extra business and further improve customer support.”
