Here's an outline of what you will learn

Optimus was used to set up an automated engineering simulation process - driving CATIA modeling & SC/Tetra CFD simulation - to identify optimized bobsleigh design configurations.

Optimus then started an automated Design of Experiments (DOE) campaign to sample the design space accurately and efficiently.

A surrogate model, built on the representative set of virtual experiments, revealed valuable relationships between design parameters, shape and performance metrics.

The development team performed multi-objective bobsleigh optimization directly on the surrogate model, enabling extremely fast optimization cycles.

Multiobjective optimization algorithms delivered a set of Pareto-optimal solutions, among which the engineering team can choose the best fit.

A wide range of powerful visualizations delivered actionable insights and relevant decision metrics to the engineering team - maximizing user productivity.
