​Mario Janssens, Senior Development Engineer

Before graduating as a programmer, Mario was already doing his thesis at Noesis Solutions. He decided to stay, and now more than twelve years later he has taken on a number of new responsibilities beyond his programming work. “Programming is my life, but my additional tasks provide variation in my job,” says Mario. “I have regular contact with our customers and software distributors to discuss specific software related requests. Internally, I often confer with application engineers on software integration projects. My involvement in these integration projects allows me to gain insight into customers’ engineering challenges and ambitions.”

As one of Noesis Solutions’ first software development engineers, Mario has seen Optimus evolve into a solid and complete software solution that it is today. “If an urgent request comes in, colleagues often come to me because I know the software inside-out. For the same reason, I also train and assist new development engineers to give them a head start in Optimus programming. Overall, I like the informal working atmosphere at Noesis Solutions where colleagues are one team.”
