This position is located at Noesis Solutions Italia Srl based in Milan area (Novara) ,  Italy.

In this position, you will strengthen the Noesis development team, along with highly motivated and competent software engineers in the development and maintenance of our collaborative enterprise platform, id8.

Id8 is a cloud-native simulation and data management platform that enables auto-scalable engineering solutions & streamlines engineering process in a collaborative environment. It empowers organizations to take full control of the engineering design process, from simulation workflows to high-level business decisions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

In your role as Senior Software Engineer, you contribute to the continuous development of id8 enterprise platform. You are working in a team following the agile development methodology, to deliver high quality and efficient software components. Always searching for the best solutions, driven by passion for programming and with an eye for detail, you are not satisfied with average solutions. Your drive for excellence, analytical skills, and focused attitude result in error free code. You operate in a dynamic international environment in which requirements change quickly.

Day-to-day functions include:

• Cooperation with peers to define the design of new features or improve existing ones
• Coding according to specifications, to implement new features, maintain or adapt features
• In-depth testing of software

As a promising candidate you ideally have:

• a Bachelor or Master’s degree in (Applied) Computer Sciences or a university degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology. You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in developing web applications.

Required experience includes:

1. Microservice architecture
2. Java and Spring Boot
3. Angular
4. MongoDB. PostgreSQL or another relational DB
5. Apache Kafka
6. Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker & AWS
7. Bootstrap 5
8. IDE's: Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ
9. Unit testing (Junit, …)

• Excellent communication, quick learning, problem solving, strong time management and organizational skills with ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work both independently and in a team
• Drive for innovation and excellence
• Proficiency in English including written and verbal communications
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
