LightTools is a leading 3D optical engineering and design software used to simulate illumination optics products including LED lighting systems, LCD backlights, projectors, and interior and exterior automotive lighting. LightTools has 3D CAD functionality, which allows evaluation models to be developed easily.
The Optimus software suite from Noesis Solutions is a renowned solution for design optimization and process integration. It enables manufacturers to identify superior product designs by managing a parametric simulation campaign using simulation software such as LightTools. Optimus users typically perform Design of Experiments (DOE) to define a virtual experiment plan that acquires the most relevant design information possible with minimum simulation effort. They then use this information set to explore the design improvement potential using Response Surface Modeling (RSM) methods, or to identify an optimized product design.
Optimus’ powerful Open Access technology enables interaction with third-party software programs such as LightTools.
